“I thought it was a superb weekend – I loved the way the sessions built seamlessly from a simple beginning to an intense group experience, and how each exercise developed the one before. I felt that you held the group sensitively but securely and created a very safe space for women to explore their own personal experience and in both words and movement, alone and with others, and that this feeling of safety and affirmation enabled us to visit and express aspects of our lives which may have been painful and hidden. I think the workshop has had more effect on me than I thought it would! I felt much more confidence and actual enjoyment in occupying space after the workshops – more able to define my own space rather than look for spaces to fit into, and I know this will have a positive impact in a lot of different areas of my life. After one of the bodywork sessions, I realised I could sit cross-legged, which I haven’t been able to for some time, and I still can two weeks after, so I know something happened on a physical as well as a psychological level. Oh, and I particularly appreciated that you encouraged us to use our voices when moving, that was great fun and I want more places to do this!” Participant comments, 2018
